Please note that the current released redmine mylyn connector at http://danmunn.github.io/redmine_mylyn_connector/ does not properly support Redmine 2.4 as the Redmine API has been changed in a not backward compatible way.
You need to install a working connector in your Redmine installation, so you need to follow the instructions at http://www.redmine.org/boards/3/topics/40465 for patching the connector to work with Redmine 2.4.x.

This issue has now been fixed in the current Mylyn Connector Plugin, so the current version should now work perfectly again with Redmine 2.4 and up (We checked this against Redmine 2.5.1).
